Zurich is number one with 16 Berlin Champions competing
In the statistical survey of one day top meetings in terms of individual World Champions from Berlin 2009 participating the best is Weltklasse of Zurich with 16 such athletes. It should be noted that meetings after the championships already knew the names of champions. From the meetings before Berlin the best is Rome, Lausanne and London with 13 champions.
Track and Field’s elite endorse IAAF Diamond League at sparkling launch
The top stars of international athletics were on display this
evening at the Fairmont Hotel, Monaco, to give their backing to the
IAAF Diamond League, with the organisers of the new global track and
field circuit honoured to announce those same athletes as its
Ambassadors and as contracted participants for 2010.
