Weltklasse Zürich and Swiss marathon record holder Viktor Röthlin have decided to form a world-class partnership - a perfect match. The promoters of the most important one-day meeting in athletics represents the fastest German-speaking marathon runner of all times. Viktor Röthlin, on his part, has become an ambassador for the prestigious event. Meeting Director Patrick K. Magyar and his Weltklasse Zürich team support and advise the Swiss hopeful for an Olympic medal in Beijing in all sponsoring, PR, and daily business related matters. "Viktor Röthlin stands for world-class athletics, and he is an ideal ambassador for our sport - not only in Switzerland, but also on an international level", explains Patrick K. Magyar. He would like to strengthen the meeting's ties with the running community. "According to market research, 35% of the spectators in the Letzigrund Stadium are runners themselves. Especially in the Olympic year 2008, Viktor is an ideal positive role model for athletics fans.
