Our 8 focus areas
The United Nations' Agenda 2030, with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals, serves as a guide for sustainability. Specifically, we focus on eight key goals:

Athletics, based on universal fundamental movement skills, provides the ideal foundation for health and well-being. Through our initiatives, we promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

Through the UBS Kids Cup and the Weltklasse Zürich Extrameile, we provide educational programs and materials for schools. We also support the training and development of athletes and coaches.

In athletics, men and women have equal access to all disciplines. Weltklasse Zürich has practiced equal pay since 1995!

Athletics is equally accessible to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or socio-economic and cultural background. We place special emphasis on nurturing young talent.

Sport and the creation of sports infrastructure play a vital role in social cohesion. By supporting the LC Zürich, schools, and collaborating closely with the city and canton, we contribute significantly to community development.

We strive to minimize food waste and prioritize local and regional products. In the non-food sector, we use sustainable materials and, whenever possible, reuse them multiple times.

Since 2009, we have financially supported climate protection projects through CO₂ offsetting. We also pursue the continuous reduction of our ecological footprint.
To achieve our ambitious objectives, we collaborate with key stakeholders: Swiss Athletics, Wanda Diamond League, World Athletics, sponsors, and local, cantonal, and federal authorities.
Here you will find our current and past sustainability reports, which transparently show how we assume and further develop our environmental, social, and economic responsibility.
