Letzigrund Stadium indoor arena

Letzigrund Stadium has served as a Weltklasse Zürich stage since 1928. Rebuilt in 2007, the arena is viewed as a monument in the athletics world and was awarded the World Athletics Heritage Plaque. World-class performances in competitions require world-class infrastructure. Weltklasse Zürich and the Leichtathletik-Club Zürich are therefore planning on building an athletics indoor arena on the premises of Letzigrund Stadium. There are only three similar arenas in Switzerland so far, including Aigle, St. Gall, and Magglingen.
