Who takes responsibility? Who dares to attack and who stays composed? And who still has the decisive kick left on the final straight after a demanding race?

Few athletes have mastered this art as perfectly in recent years as Jakob Ingebrigtsen. The Norwegian has dominated middle-distance running with a combination of tactical intelligence, relentless pace and remarkable consistency. The four-time world record holder and two-time Olympic champion now returns to the international stage after an extended break due to injury and limited competition. At Weltklasse Zürich, Ingebrigtsen immediately becomes part of the most prestigious 1500-metre race of the season.

Standing in his way are two athletes who have recently claimed the biggest titles in the discipline. Isaac Nader arrives in Zürich as the reigning world champion. The Portuguese athlete has shown that he remains calm in the decisive moments of a race and can make the difference with his powerful finishing speed. Cole Hocker is also familiar with the biggest stages in athletics: The American won the Olympic 1500-metre final in Paris with a tactically perfect performance, underlining his ability to read a race and strike at exactly the right moment.
