Weltklasse Zürich Zoo Run 2025: Tickets now available

Participants run at their own pace, and they get to decide how many laps they would like to complete. The varied course takes them through the fascinating animal park on just over two kilometres. As an additional treat, tickets will allow runners to arrive at the zoo nearly three hours before the starting gun goes off, so that they have plenty of time to see the zoo’s animals.

The course’s start line is located behind the penguin pool near the entrance. Runners will first pass by the camels and the zoo building, and then head up to Panthera, the new big cat enclosure. After a quick chat with the big cats, the course leads them to the Kaeng Krachan Elephant Park and the Lewa Savanna before taking them up a small hill towards the finish area.

Participating in the Weltklasse Zürich Zoo Run 2025 does not only offer a healthy workout. Runners also help protect nature, and they experience both the fascinating world of animals and the sport of athletics from a surprising perspective.

“We are very excited about this fourth edition of the Weltklasse Zürich Zoo Run. The special atmosphere at the zoo after the gates close turns this event into a truly unique running experience. And the close and inspiring co-operation with Zoo Zurich allows us to combine physical activity, nature, and sustainability in a wonderful way,” Christoph Joho, Co-Meeting Director of Weltklasse Zürich said.

This year, in addition to the traditional individual tickets, attractive company packages go on sale today, as well. All proceeds from these packages will go to nature conservation projects. Individual tickets are available at 30 Swiss francs for adults and at 16 Swiss francs for children up to 16 years. Children under the age of five join the run free of charge.

There are two new tickets packages for companies or other groups that would like to participate in the Weltklasse Zürich Zoo Run 2025. The Team 11 package, available at 300 Swiss francs, includes tickets for up to 11 individuals (of all ages). Larger teams can book a Team 22 package. This package (600 Swiss francs) includes a spot in the memorable run at Zoo Zurich for up to 22 team members. Run to protect nature: Tigers in the focus of the 2025 Zoo Run edition

The Weltklasse Zürich Zoo Run 2025 is all about tigers. All proceeds from tickets will go to the Kaeng Krachan conservation project in Thailand. The project is committed to protect wild tigers and their habitat at the Western Forest Complex, an area covering approx. 18 000 km2. Only about 200 tigers are estimated to still live in the wild today. Every Zoo Run participant supports their protection.
