On 25 August 2026, the most popular children’s athletics training session in Switzerland takes place at Letzigrund Stadium, supported by UBS and Migros.
National and international coaches teach kids the basics of athletics, including running, jumping, and throwing. Some children start their athletics journey here, while others enjoy a unique chance to meet their role models, selfies and autographs included.

Once again, Jugend trainiert mit Weltklasse Zürich 2025 brought smiles not only to the 500 children participating, but also to the athletics stars. The celebrity coaches led the most popular children’s athletics training session in Switzerland with energy and enthusiasm, taking time for selfies and autographs.
This youth athletics event in Zürich gives children a unique chance to experience running, jumping, and throwing alongside their sporting role models, inspiring the next generation of athletes.
