At Weltklasse Zurich on Sechseläutenplatz and in the Letzigrund Stadium, the world stars of athletics once again knew how to put on a show. Time and again, the knowledgeable and vociferous crowd cheered them on from their seats or, in the case of the standing area, jumped for joy. 25,000 enthusiastic and inspiring spectators experienced magical moments, which we continue to present in a variety of forms.

Sechseläutenplatz crowd cheers Simon Ehammer to the Diamond Trophy

After a two-year hiatus, Weltklasse Zürich returned to Sechseläutenplatz on Wednesday evening for a ‘celebration of technical disciplines’. 7,000 enthusiastic fans cheered on Simon Ehammer, who won his second diamond in the long jump, and Nicola Olyslagers, who set an Oceania record in the best high jump competition of the year.

Thrilling duels, historic records, big throws and Audrey Werro in top form

Four hours of athletics fireworks, a stadium rocking, locals in record-breaking mood – that's World Class Zurich. In the women's events, Audrey Werro, her country's first champion in the Wanda Diamond League, Femke Bol (NED/400m hurdles) and Salwa Eid Naser (BRN/400m) impressed with meeting records. These performances will remain fondly remembered by fans.

In the men's events, the magical atmosphere in the Letzigrund Stadium electrified the spectators as the stars of the evening delivered one highlight after another. Two meeting records in the 110 m and 400 m hurdles and a world best performance of the year in the javelin crowned the 15th Wanda Diamond League Final.
